The Oral Argument Coach simulates the courtroom experience before you get there. It reviews your motion papers, learns the judge's questioning style from historical data, and prepares you to handle the arguments the judge is most likely to raise.
To start a coaching session, click Oral Argument Coach from any judge profile or hearing in your case tracker. Upload or paste the text of your moving papers or opposition. No confidential client data is stored after the session ends.
The coaching session has three parts. First, the Question Anticipator presents the five to ten most likely questions this judge will ask based on their historical questioning patterns and the specific arguments in your brief.
Second, the Rebuttal Trainer simulates opposing counsel's best arguments and coaches you on how to respond concisely and effectively. This is particularly useful for preparing associates making their first appearances before unfamiliar judges.
Third, the Delivery Tips section gives judge-specific advice on presentation style. Some judges prefer extremely brief oral argument; others prefer a fuller presentation. Sessions are available on Pro (10 per month) and Firm and Enterprise (unlimited) plans.
