Morning Court Brief explained

A daily AI-generated email summarizing the intelligence you need before each day in court.

Updated April 8, 2026AI Features

The Morning Court Brief is an automated daily email CaliforniaCourtIntel sends on mornings when you have hearings scheduled. It delivers a one-stop pre-hearing intelligence summary before a busy court day.

Each Morning Court Brief is personalized to your calendar. If you have three hearings on a given day before three different judges, the brief will contain a section for each. The brief arrives in your inbox at 6:00 AM Pacific time.

A typical brief section includes: the judge's name, department, and courthouse; a plain-English summary of the ruling tendencies for your specific motion type; the most recent tentative ruling if posted; three to five talking points to emphasize; and any flagged risks.

The brief is generated fresh each morning from the latest available data. If no tentative is posted by the time the brief generates, the section will note this so you know to check the court's website again.

To enable Morning Court Brief, go to Settings, then Notifications, then Morning Court Brief and toggle it on. Firm and Enterprise plans allow the brief to be configured for every attorney in the organization.
